Founded in 2011, Ecogen Energy (formerly known as Solar Roofing Specialists) helps our clients to minimise their energy costs, secure their energy supply for the future, and achieve their sustainability ambitions.

We specialise in offering a range of solutions, including solar, battery storage, EV charging, and solar carports, for commercial, residential, and community-based projects.

Ethiopian Solar Powered Off-Grid Electrification project - Solaroba

Powering a research laboratory, health centre and maternity unit, in a remote mountainous part of Ethiopia, with solar PV and battery storage with surplus energy being used to power a school.

Solar PV for homeless charity Society of St. James

The solar PV system reduces the bills for SSJ's formerly homeless clients who live in their specialist accommodation as well as providing SSJ with an income of around £1,000 per year for up to 20 years.

Solar PV and electrical system for Eastleigh Gurkha Nepalese Association

Bringing power to the Eastleigh Gurkha Nepalese Association community gardens and head quarters which enables cold storage for the vegetables they grow on-site for local food banks and the Nepalese community.
