Ecogen Energy is on the lookout for skilled and motivated Solar PV installers in Bristol and Southampton. As a Solar PV installer, you’ll be responsible for installing solar panels on commercial properties, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

While previous solar PV experience is a plus, we also welcome candidates with a background in electrical or mechanical installation.

• Install solar panels on roofs and other structures using power tools and equipment 
• Work with team members to plan and organise the installation process 
• Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times 
• Ensure that solar panels are installed in accordance with industry standards and design engineer specifications 
• Troubleshoot and solve problems related to the installation process 
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used 
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers 
• Actively support and uphold our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace
• Encourage an environment free from racism, misogyny, discrimination, and bias

• Previous experience in electrical or mechanical installation 
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety 
• An understanding of health and safety on-site and the ability to work in line with our company Risk Assessment and Method Statement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (20kg) 
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed 
• Ability to travel when required
• Great work ethic and positive attitude

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
